Something went wrong with a job

Raise it with the tradesperson first, and on the job itself — every job has a Report an issue option once work is under way, and using it puts the problem on the record where both sides and we can see it. That is almost always faster than email.

If that does not sort it, or the other side has stopped replying, write to us and say which job it is.

What we can and cannot do about it. The contract for the work is between the customer and the tradesperson, not with us, so we cannot decide who is right about the standard of the work or order anybody to pay anything. What we can do is look at conduct on the platform, act on accounts that behave badly, and make sure the record of what happened is accurate.

Your personal information

Use the same address to ask for a copy of what we hold about you, to correct something that is wrong, to object to how we use it, or to ask us to delete it. We answer data protection requests within one month, which is the statutory deadline rather than a target we set ourselves.

Complaints about Atria Trades itself

Tell us plainly what happened and what you would like done about it. Complaints go to the same address and are acknowledged within five working days.

If you are not happy with how we have handled your personal information and we have not put it right, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. We would rather you came to us first.
